Saturday, August 30, 2008: SuperCruise & SuperShow'n Shine

This day is designated for the actual SuperCruise 8:30 Saturday morning - cruise cars will gather at the Johnston Station Building 5525 Merle Hay Road, Johnston, IA 9:00 – depart Johnston Station for a multiple stop cruise around the greater Des Moines area. Utilizing the Interstate Highways 35/80 & By-Pass Highways of 65/69 & Hwy. 5 participants are asked to gather sponsors for each mile they participate in the Cruise. The Cruise will exit the route at predetermined SuperStops where participants will receive door prizes from participating local businesses hosting coordinating events & fundraisers along the route of the SuperCruise! The Finale' SuperStop will be Plaza Lanes/Trophy's Bar & Grill 2701 Douglas Ave. in Des Moines..Where the SuperShow'n Shine runs all day for those who do not wish to participate in the SuperCruise and where SuperCruise participants will end the Cruise and join the Show'n Shine Featuring Live Entertainment, Great Food, Sand Volleyball, where you will meet the Posterboy of the SuperCruise the founder and co-organizer of this Event Joe Kelly. Make your donation to the build of the "Go Forward 50" have your photo taken with the Radical Girls and the newly formed SuperCruise SuperModels, and where the awards ceremonies will name the winning vehicles in all catagories and participate in the Drawings for Prizes! But most of all an opportunity to make your donation to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and the Joe Kelly Spinal Surgery Research Fund.

No registration or participation fee for the SuperCruise– donations only-Please gather Sponsors to sponsor your vehicle Encourage your favorite Local Businesses to Sponsor your Ride, put their sign up, fly their colors, to show their backing of your ride and advertise in exchange for donations to sponsor your ride!

SuperShow'n Shine Participants in awards based show are asked for $15 entry fee for each vehicle entered. Winners receive Gift Certificates and discount offers from a variety of Performance Parts Distributors and Manufactures, local area businesses and much more......
 Win a Photo Shoot with the SuperCruise SuperModel of your choosing and your Ride photos by Nationally Renowned Photographer Curtis Stahr of Stahrland Productions, Curt will be on hand  taking shots throughoutthe entire event, request a photo shoot with the Radical Girls or SuperCruise SuperModels in exchange for your donation to either Charity Fund ..
